Hugo’s Hidden Medallion Contest

Potato Bowl Pete has been found!  The medallion bearing his image was tucked under some bushes behind the flagpole in Riverside Park.

Lee Hensrud of Grand Forks who was searching with his wife Jana and brother Iver, made the discovery on Tuesday, September 20th.  Lee got a bonus clue early that morning from the Hugo’s Family Market on 32^nd Avenue that helped lead them to the prize.

Lee said despite the cold and rainy weather, there was a lot of competition at the many locations he searched before finding the metal.

The Hensruds won $1,200 worth of groceries from Hugo’s along with a ride in the Potato Bowl Parade and four free game tickets to the Potato Bowl football game on Saturday.
